68 of Cogan Station Lycoming County formerly of Emmaus passed away Tuesday March 31 2026 at the home of his daughter Jan M. Costa in New Tripoli. He was the husband of Anita M. Gerkovich Costa to whom he was married 38 years. Born in Allentown October 15 1957 John was the son of the late Joseph G. and Joyce Brinker Costa. John worked in the Public Works Department for the Borough of Emmaus for 33 years before retiring in 2021. Prior to that he owned and operated the former John Costas Seamless Gutters. John proudly served on the Board of Directors of Ranger Rod Gun Club Coplay. John found joy in many things throughout his life but in his later years he perfected the simple pleasures.
