Edward Paul Dalbo 74 of Laflin passed away on Thursday May 14 2026 at his residence with his wife by his side after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Scranton on September 16 1951 he was the son of Edward and Stella Kania Dalbo. He was raised in Moosic and graduated from South Scranton Catholic High School. Following graduation Edward enlisted in the United States Army Reserves serving with the 1st Battalion 109th Field Artillery Regiment where he attained the rank of Specialist Fourth Class before his honorable discharge. He completed coursework in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services at the University of Scranton. Edward was employed with Spotless Cleaners of Dunmore in sales for three decades. Joanne Roberts, 76, of Drums, died at her residence in the early morning hours of Wednesday, May 13th.Born in Hazleton, August 24, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Betty (McDonough) Roberts.She was a graduate of West Hazleton High School and was employed by various restaurants in the area as both a waitress and a cook. Most recently, she was employed as an aide at the White Haven Center.Joanne was a member of the Valley Vets and the Butler Township Fire Company. She enjoyed spending time outdoors gardening and bird watching and especially loved caring for her many pets over the years.Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents were her brother John Roberts; sisters Connie Roberts and Donna Bird; life partner Jeffrey Brown; brothers-in-law Chico Bird and Joseph Zelinka, and son-in-law Frederick Kobrick.Surviving are her daughters Mary Kobrick of Drums, Ann Supon and her life…
