Janet B. Geyer Winter Stiger 92 of South Williamsport passed away on Friday February 13 2026 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Jersey Shore on March 1 1933 she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Ruth Sewalt Geyer. She is survived by her children Dale Winter Mary of Collomsville Susan Winter of Loyalsock Cheryl Starr Richard of Rauchtown Joyce Winter of South Williamsport and Carolyn Lundberg Mark of Pennsdale 11 grandchildren 17 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She is also survived by 4 stepchildren and numerous grand and great grand stepchildren. In addition to her parents Janet was preceded in death by her first husband John L. Holly Elaine Lanahan Livermore 60 of Cogan Station daughter of the late Elaine L. Lanahan and Robert J. Lanahan Sr. passed away on February 14 2026. Born February 22 1965 in Philadelphia PA she was a graduate of Montoursville Area High School class of 1984. As a devoted wife mother grandmother sister and aunt Holly loved her family deeply and cared for them with unwavering devotion. She embraced life with a joyful heart positivity and a strength that uplifted everyone who knew her. She is survived by her husband of 36 years Larry W. George Herbert Lins Pop 96 formerly of DuBoistown PA passed away peacefully at CaroMont Medical Center in Gastonia NC on February 9 2026. George was born in Williamsport PA on May 12 1929 the son of the late George Howard Lins and Myrtle Ruth Machette Lins. George was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War Era who served from February 1952 until February 1954 with the 4th Recon Co 4th Infantry Division where he was deployed in Frankfurt Germany. Before and after being drafted he was employed as an upholsterer by the former Schnadig Corporation in Montoursville PA from which he retired in 1994. George was also a selfemployed furniture reupholsterer.
