John W. Casciotta 66 of East Stroudsburg Pennsylvania passed away on October 10 2026 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Marialena Baumann Casciotta with whom he had recently celebrated 41 years of marriage. Born in Queens New York John was the son of John M. and Carole Heddink Casciotta of Aiken SC. He made his home in Pennsylvania in 1988 and had resided in East Stroudsburg for the past 24 years. John worked as an Assistant Vice President of Scheduling at Citigroup until his retirement in 2013. A proud U.S. Marine Corps veteran he lived a life marked by service dedication and faith. He was a member of Our Lady of Victory Church in Tannersville PA and a member of the Knights of Columbus. For more than 20 years John was a PIAA referee for multiple sports and he loved working with kids.…

Carlos A. Castillo Hernandez 77 of East Stroudsburg Pennsylvania passed away on Saturday October 9 2026 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Maria DeJesus Aguero for many years knowing her since childhood. Born in Honduras he was the son of Vicente and Fidelia Hernandez. Carlos was residing in the East Stroudsburg area for the past three years and prior to that he lived in Honduras. He was employed as a taxi driver in Honduras for many years and he was of the Christian faith. In addition to his wife Maria he is survived by his children Yamileth Gonzalez Nelli Bannoff Jackie Cruz Lillian Cevilla and Carlos Castillo grandchildren Hanna Dennis Lori Jason Amy Jamil Alexandra Kimberly Alex Jr. Allison Naomi and Kaylee and his great grandchildren Noah Enzo Averly and Travis Trent. A memorial service will be held on Saturday October 17 2026…
