Thelma Lee Toland 68 of Claysville passed away Thursday February 12 2026 in Premier of Washington Health Center. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles vegetable and floral gardening and working and spending time in the outdoors. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with family. Surviving is a sister Louise Toland and several nieces and nephews including her niece Maria Atkinson with home she shared a special friendship. Also surviving are several great nieces and great nephew. Friends will be received from 200 to 700 p.m. Wednesday February 18 2026 in Dale D. DeAngelo Funeral Home at 1290 Jefferson Avenue in Washington. A Celebration of life will be held at 700 p.m. Wednesday immediately following the viewing.

Larry J. Hoosac 80 of Monongahela passed away on Tuesday February 10 2026 surrounded by his family in his home. Born June 22 1945 in New Eagle he was the son of the late Peter Sr. and Irene Gregg Hoosac. Larry was a 1963 graduate of Monongahela High School and attended California University. A faithful member of The Church of Nazarene in Monongahela he worked at U.S. Steel Clairton Works until retiring in 2000. A creative and avid story teller he enjoyed spending time with his family and was a member of the Independent Club in Bentleyville.
