Robert Bob Martik Sr. 72 of Venetia passed away Saturday February 14 2026 at home. Bob was selfemployed as a general contractor owning and operating his business R.W. Martik and Sons Construction and was a parishioner at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Finleyville. His greatest joy in life was his family especially his grandchildren. Surviving are his wife Linda Martik two sons Robert Marissa Martik Jr. of Peters Twp and Ryan Tricia Martik of Finleyville one daughter Christine Martik of Munhall six brothers four sisters seven grandchildren Aston Lawson Leo Truxton Quinn Valen and Aurelius and one grandchild Octavia on the way and many nieces and nephews. Nellie M. Lowery 84 of Richeyville PA passed away on February 14 2026 in the Premier Washington Rehabilitation and Nursing after a recent battle with illness. She was born on July 12 1941 in Deemston Borough a daughter of the late William and Lillian Huseman Sumner. Nellie graduated from the Ellsworth high School in 1960 and attended the Pittsburgh Beauty Academy later in life. On September 24 1961 she married the late Gary L. Lowery who passed away on November 9 2017. Nellie was known for her kind and funny personality and was employed as a Care Giver Fairview Valley PCH and Lasoskys PCH for many years. She was also the occasional Hairdresser. Mrs. Lowery enjoyed planting flowers going on vacation to the beach shopping with her daughter and was an amazing cook. John Gibson Jr.

John S. Gibson Jr. 88 of Marianna PA passed away peacefully on Monday February 16 2026 in Rolling Meadows Rehabilitation and Nursing. Mr. Gibson was born on December 15 1937 in Ten Mile township a son of the late John Sr. and Lorraine Biegler Gibson. He graduated from the West Beth High School and later attended Washington and Jefferson College where he received his BS in Mathematics and the California University of Pennsylvania where he obtained his Masters degree. He was employed as a Professor in Mathematics at both the Waynesburg College and the California University from where he retired after many years. Along with being highly intelligent John also enjoyed motor sports and various sports in general.
