Jeronimo Monroy 93 of Central Falls passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on February 14 2026. He was the husband of the late Cristina Monroy Arreces with whom he shared over 50 years of love and loyalty. Jeronimo was born in Villa Nueva Guatemala on September 30 1932 son of the late Casimira Monroy. He endured a hard childhood and tough upbringing which sharpened his work ethic and strengthened his resolve. Mr. Monroy worked from an earlier age forging himself into a successful baker and businessman. Jeronimo owned and operated his own bakery in Guatemala until his immigration to the United States in 1989. Upon his arrival in the United States Jeronimo settled in Central Falls and worked in a jewelry factory until his retirement at the age of 76.
