Mr. Timothy Dwayne Hager 59 of Lexington passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday August 18 2026. He was born on October 21 1966 in Statesville NC to the late Donald Nelson and Sandra Rae Woodside Hager. Surviving are his wife Donna Hager sons Jason Parrish and Wesley Hager brother Darren Hager Lynn sisters Margaret Greene and Bobbie McPhee and one grandchild Olivia Parrish. As well as his best friend Fred Redmon. A private service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society P.O. Box 6704 Hagerstown MD 21741. BarrPrice Funeral Home and Crematorium Historic BatesburgLeesville Chapel is assisting the Hager family with arrangements.

Robert Howard Penick

Robert Howard Penick 75 passed away August 19 2026. Born on September 12 1950 in Batesburg to the late Thomas R. Penick and Helen Howard Penick. Bob served in the Air Force was a MENSA member Red Cross Volunteer a former member of the BL Town Council and BL water commission. He worked for 30 years and retired from DHEC. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Sandra White Penick and his son Robert Chip E. Penick. A memorial service will be held on Sunday August 23 2026 at 300 p.m. at St. Johns Global Methodist Church with Rev. Scott Nurse officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service in the sanctuary. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to St. Johns Global Methodist Church at 513 W.
