Born in Fayetteville North Carolina Clayton was the son of the late Clayton William Horne and the late Margaret Virginia Lowe. He was a devoted family man a proud veteran and faithful to his community and church. Clayton was preceded in death by his beloved wife Dottie Carter his daughter Christy Horne and his brothers Clayton William Horne Jr. and John Larry Smith as well as his first wife Mary E. Baker Libby and his son Timothy L. Horne. Clayton is survived by his sons Michael L. Horne Lisa and Charles Horne his stepchildren Tim Carter and Kay Carter and his adopted son Clint Williams. Paula Marie Case of Albemarle NC was born on January 27 1952 and peacefully passed away into the arms of her Lord and Savior on April 1 2026. She is the daughter of the late Douglas D.
