Clyde Randall Young age 67 of Smithville passed away on Thursday February 12 2026 at Willow Branch Health in McMinnville. Born on May 19 1958 in Smithville TN to his parents the late Lester Ray and Reba Ione Kelly Young Clyde was a former employee of Griffins Fruit Market. He is survived by his family including his two brothers Garry Christine Young and Larry Young both of Smithville and his sister Vickey Dan Crews of Chattanooga several nieces and nephews are also left to will cherish his memory. Visitation with the Young family will be held on Sunday from 1100 a.m. until the funeral service at 200 p.m. in the chapel of LoveCantrell Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Young Bend Cemetery.

Resha Hattaway

Smithville, Tennessee

June 7, 1975

Melissa Resha Hattaway age 50 of Smithville passed away on Tuesday January 27 2026 at her residence. She was a Baptist and retired postal worker. She was born on June 8 1975 in McMinnville and was preceded in death by her father Mike Ward and grandparents L.C. Lorene Tramel. Visitation with the family will be on Thursday from 1200 until 700 pm and on Friday from 900 until service time at 1100 am. Bro. Johnathon Willoughby will officiate and burial will follow in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Survivors include her mother Janice Tramel Ward 2 sons Quentin Cook and Zack Mauriciona Snyder grandson Aiden Cook sister Rena Johnathon Willoughby niece and nephew Lydia Willoughby and Jathan Willoughby special friends Chad Hayes and Gayle Pack.
