Jackie Edward Mayo age 76 of Tiptonville TN passed away on Sunday February 15 2026 at Signature Healthcare of Ridgely. Born on June 11 1949 in Tiptonville TN he was the beloved son of the late Jack and Mary Robertson Mayo. Jackie was a retired clerk with the State of Tennessee Department of Health. A devoted member of the Hornbeak Baptist Church he served as a Deacon and was the music director for an impressive 42 years. Jackie had a passion for baseball and was an accomplished guitarist bringing joy to many through his music. Jackie proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday February 17 2016 in the Tiptonville Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Rev. John Troutman and Rev. Chip Davis officiating.
