Mark Edward Lowrance of Murfreesboro TN passed away on May 12 2026 at the age of 64. He was born on October 21 1961 in Manchester TN to Bobby and Nelda Lowrance. After graduating from Middle Tennessee State University in 1985 he had a career as a licensed land surveyor and civil engineer for nearly 40 years. Mark had a love for the great outdoors where he enjoyed hiking camping fly fishing and rock climbing. He also had a deep appreciation for music and loved playing the guitar. He will be remembered for his calm demeanor as he was always slow to anger and had a kind spirit. She was a Church of Christ and a registered nurse. Her last 14 years she was a nurse at Alive Hospice. Survived by he loving husband of 43 years Thomas Hand son Artie Whitney Hand stepson Jeff Hand stepdaughter Dawn Shepard 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was a kind and loving wife. Everyone she ever met she treated with kindness and respect. She volunteered her time in Sparta with anyone who may have needed help. Most of all she dearly loved her family. A Celebration of Life will be held at her home on Saturday June 13 2026 at 600pm at 234 Riverside Lane Doyle TN. 38559. She was a Church of Christ and a registered nurse.
