Emmett Carl Mac McAdams age 90 passed away peacefully on Monday August 17 2026 surrounded by the love of his family. Born on September 5 1935 in Birmingham Alabama Mac was the son of Melvin Carl McAdams and Marguerite Emerald Dean McAdams. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Polly McAdams Richardson. Mac leaves behind his devoted wife of 63 years Betty McKinney McAdams. Together they built a life centered on faith family and friendship. He is also survived by his sons Mark Suzanne of Birmingham Alabama and Michael Stephanie of Rockvale Tennessee. His grandchildren Andrew and Lydia McAdams of Birmingham and Meredith Madelyn and Mia McAdams of Rockvale were a source of happiness and pride throughout his life.
