Alice Angeline "Angel" Bevering passed away peacefully at home on July 2 2026 at the age of 82. Angel was born and raised in Petrolia Texas where she graduated from Petrolia High School and met the love of her life Paul Bevering. They shared 63 wonderful years of marriage. Although she was a resident of Zavalla Texas she spent most of her life in Charlie Texas. Angel worked for several years at First National Bank in Wichita Falls and First National Bank of Byers before opening her own custom drapery business beside her home in Charlie. Her talent for designing and sewing beautiful custom window treatments brought joy to many customers over the years. She and Paul enjoyed traveling throughout the United States in their RV with friends from the Texas Airstream Harbor Group making memories that they treasured.
