Sharon Dee Devoto passed away peacefully on May 12 2026 in Frisco Texas. Born August 5 1958 in Dallas Texas Sharon was the beloved daughter of Frances Mangold Straughan and Milton Straughan both of whom preceded her in death. Sharon lived a life defined by dedication intelligence kindness and a deep love for her family. She graduated from Lake Highlands High School in 1975 and later earned her Bachelors Degree in Business Education from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1989. Throughout her career Sharon touched many lives working in education private sector and public service. She was often considered the Office Mom who took care of her colleagues while also making sure tasks got completed. Beginning as a business education teacher in Cleburne Texas Sharon inspired and encouraged her students with patience and care.
