Daniel Lee McMillen 72 of Nevada Texas passed away peacfully on Feburay 12 2026 next his wife Janet McMillen. Daniel was born on June 23 1953 in Dallas Texas to J.W. and Mary McMillen. He graduated from R.L. Turner High School in 1971. On May 1978 he married the love of his life Janet McMillen. Daniel worked for the Plano Fire Department and then as parametic in Plano Texas. He volunteered for Meals on Wheels for 12 years in Collin County and received an award for volunteer of the year. Daniel had a passion for helping others in need working with youth programs spending time with family woodworking and hot pepper gardening. Above all he treasured time spent with his children and grandchild. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Janet his children Erin and Catherine grandchild Allan and many beloved nieces and nephews.
