Alonzo Brown was born on October 13 1930 and peacefully transitioned on June 5 2026 going home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Alonzo was born to the union of the late Moses and Bessie Brown in Laurel Mississippi. He was born alongside his twin brother Alphonzo. At a very young age Alonzo accepted Christ as his Savior and was baptized at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Laurel Mississippi. His faith remained a guiding force throughout his life. Alonzo was united in Holy Matrimony to Vera. To this union one daughter Monifa Monica. Throughout his lifetime Alonzo resided in several states including Mississippi Ohio California and Texas. After relocating to Cincinnati Ohio in the 60s by way of his uncle Major Leo and Louise Williams.
