Michael “Mickey” Dale Ford, age 65, passed away in Eagle Lake, Texas on March 31, 2026. He was born to Thomas Qualey and Mary Ann (Schonefeld) Ford in Corpus Christi, Texas on February 27, 1961.Mickey attended W.B. Ray High School in Corpus Christi, graduating in 1979. Over the years, he applied his many talents to a variety of careers, including work in security, driving taxis, and owning his own flooring company, Professional Flooring Systems, for a number of years. No matter the role, he was happiest working with people, he had a remarkable ability to connect with anyone he met.In his free time, he enjoyed solving puzzles, including crosswords, playing darts and pool and spending time with family-especially playing games.
