Evelyn Sylvia (Vasek) Kneblik, 98, of the Lone Oak Community, passed away on April 1, 2026 in Columbus, Texas.Evelyn was born on June 19, 1927 to Louis and Caroline (Biel) Vasek at home in Fayetteville, Texas. On October 23, 1951 she married the love of her life, Arnold Kneblik, in Fayetteville.In her younger years, Evelyn helped with the family farm, doing chores alongside her brothers and sisters. She also attended St. John’s Catholic School in Fayetteville until the 7th grade. After marrying Arnold, they made their home in Lone Oak and worked together on the farm. They welcomed son Jimmy in 1952 and daughter Carolyn in 1955. Evelyn was an avid gardener and baker. She loved to sew and quilt. Later on, what Evelyn enjoyed most was spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren. Days at Granny’s house meant quality time in the kitchen, whether it was…
