Dorothy Marie Brown Shaw was born on July 17 1956 in Bossier City Louisiana Barksdale Air Force Base. On June 20 2026 she transitioned to eternity with her Lord. In 1974 Dorothy graduated from Webster High School in Minden Louisiana where she was distinguished as Valedictorian. She went on to attend Grambling State University where she earned a Bachelors degree with a double major in Math and Computer Science as Salutatorian of her class. In 1977 she graduated and continued her education at the University of Southern California USC where she graduated with a Masters degree in Computer Science in 1981. Dorothy enjoyed employment with several reputable employers including Texas Instruments Bank of America Nortel and Raytheon. With her education and experience she became a college professor. Affectionately regarded as "Dottie" and "Sister Baby" Dorothy married the love of her life Ernest Shaw Jr. on February 15 1986. Their union…
