Brodie James Davis Sr. was born on January 29, 1954, to Wallace and Mattie Mae Davis in Richmond, Texas. He was raised in a loving family alongside his siblings, consisting of four boys and one girl.At an early age, Brodie accepted Christ at Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church, where he was christened and began his walk of faith.Brodie attended Lamar Consolidated High School and proudly graduated with the Class of 1972. He later attended WCJC, where he earned his welding license. He worked faithfully as a welder for HL&P for more than 25 years. Outside of work, Brodie enjoyed fishing, bowling, hunting, and playing dominoes. Around the domino table, he was affectionately known as "Champ" by all who played with him. She was bornon March 21, 1947, in Alexandria, Louisiana, to the late Albert Scott and Vera Mae KennedyScott.An only child, Ruby was raised in Alexandria, where she developed the strength, faith,intelligence, and compassion that would guide her throughout her life.
