The funeral mass will be held at Ascension Catholic Church in Bastrop on Friday February 13 2026 at 1pm. Interment will be Saturday February 14 2026 at the Brice family cemetery in Fredericksburg at 11am. Sandy was born on January 23 1945 in San Diego California to John Martin Brice Jr. and Jimmie Bridges Brice. He grew up in South Texas and graduated from Falfurrias High School. After high school he joined the U.S. Navy and served four years. Following his service he returned home and went to work in the oilfield. Later in life he worked on the Naval Base in Kingsville where he ultimately retired. He loved reading music and spending time with those he loved.
