Karen Snowden

Karen was born in Keidel Hospital on October 15 1952 to Clifton Fiedler and Mary Jane Fiedler. She was baptized at Zion Lutheran Church and confirmed at Bethany Lutheran Church. Karen met Robert Bob Snowden in Fredericksburg and on February 13 1991 they were married. Together they had a life full of adventure and traveled throughout the United States Canada and Europe with their many friends. Karen was the happiest though whenever she and Bob could take off in their own airplane and fly to their destination of choice. Karen graduated from Fredericksburg High School in 1971. While in high school she was a majorette and was a member of the National Honor Society. After graduation she began working at Community Savings Loan and this is where she realized that she had an acumen for accounting and working with numbers. Jay "Skip" Rutledge Iii
Fredericksburg, Texas
Jay Dean Rutledge III better known as Skip peacefully passed away at home on February 13 2026 at the age of 85. He was surrounded by family friends fellow deacons and his pastor. Skip was born to Colonel J.D. Rutledge Jr. and Virginia Roberts Rutledge on May 8 1940 at Langley Air Force Base Virginia. Shortly after his birth the family relocated to Pearl Harbour Hawaii where they were stationed during the bombing in December 1941. Skip and his mom were able to leave Pearl Harbour and lived safely in San Antonio Texas until the Colonel was free to join them. The familys next post was in Albuquerque New Mexico. As an Air Force brat Skip was educated in many locations including Albuquerque New Mexico Kerrville Texas Japan and eventually Tarleton University. Skip was a proud graduate of Texas A M University.
