Joe Marion Reeves 72 of Sulphur Springs TX passed away Friday May 8 2026 at his home. He was born on March 19 1954 in Pine Bluff Arkansas. Joe was a proud Scotsman known for his boundless compassion. He was a vital figure in the American honeybee hauling industry maintaining a 100 relocation record as a specialistwork that was essential for pollination and the national food supply. He is survived by his brother Tony Reeves as well as numerous nieces nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn Reeves his brother Billy Reeves his mother Geraldine Garrett Goates and his sister Jerri Ann Reeves Howard. Though our hearts are broken we find comfort in his legacy of kindness and his "cando" attitude. He will be deeply loved and forever missed.

Graveside funeral services for Patsy Ruth Gibson age 96 of Sulphur Springs will be held at 200 pm Thursday May 14 2026 at the Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Jeff Gravens officiating. Mrs. Gibson passed away on Monday May 11 2026 at the Wesely House Manor with her family at her side. She was born on October 5 1929 in the Star Ridge community of Hopkins County the daughter Wiley and Sallie Craig Morgan. She married Jimmy Dee Gibson in Hopkins County on March 25 1948 and he preceded her in death in 1978. Mrs. Gibson was a cashier at Kroger Food Store for over twentyfive years. Enjoyed making Christmas candy especially Divinity. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
