Logan Christopher Nichols 30 of McKinney Texas passed away on August 4 2026. Born on October 3 1995 in Waco Texas Logan was the beloved son of James and Karen Nichols. Logan grew up in Longview Texas in a loving home alongside his brother Tyler and sisters Mabry Emmaline and Ansley. From an early age he displayed a gentle and compassionate spirit that touched everyone who knew him. He had a deep love for all of natures creatures and a natural curiosity about the world around him. Logans thoughtfulness and intelligence were evident to all who spent time with him. A graduate of Spring Hill High School Logan excelled academically and developed a passion for sports during his youth. Cora Maxine Wilburn age 98 of Annona passed away Monday August 10 2026 at Clarksville Nursing Center. Maxine was born February 2 1928 in Lubbock Texas to H.L. and Nola Thompson McCandless. She was preceded in death by her parents her husband Tommy Wilburn granddaughter Ashley Wilburn and four brothers Doc David Paul and Henry McCandless. Maxine was a graduate of White Oak High School and attended Kilgore Junior College. She worked for Phillips Industries and Avery City Hall during her career. Maxine was a devoted member of the Church of Christ and was a wonderful wife mother daughter and provider for her family. She was selfless and hardworking always putting the needs of her family before her own. To her family Maxine was truly one of the greatest blessings the Lord could give. She was born on May 3 1944 in Trimble Tennessee and spent her later years in Bogata Texas. Lavadias unwavering faith and commitment to her calling as a minister touched countless lives offering comfort guidance and love to those around her. Lavadia is survived by her son Lee Ring and his wife Cathy her daughter Anita Yohner and her husband Murphy her daughter Alisa Tatum and her husband Shawn.
