Keith James Dopslauf was born to Edward Emery Dopslauf and Oleta Frances Chaney Dopslauf in Houston on November 10, 1952. He passed away at home in Franklin on October 8, 2026.Keith graduated from Katy High School. He proudly carried the family tradition in dairy and rice farming, then went on to work at FMC in Houston as a machinist. Later on, he was the owner operator of a trucking business, raised cattle, and was a custom hay baler. Keith married the love of his life, Karla Owen in Houston on July 3, 1981. Margaret (Swick) Johnson, 87 of Bremond went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 10, 2026 in Bryan, Texas. Margaret was born to Herman Ray Swick and Cecila (Bartula) Swick on December 17, 1938 in Bremond.Margaret attended St. Mary’s Catholic School and graduated from Bremond High School in 1957. She worked briefly for American Bankers Life Insurance Company and Gibsons Insurance Company, then spent 15 years at Calvert Nursing Home, 10 years at Bremond Nursing Home, as an administrator and 17 years with Hospice Brazos Valley.Margaret enjoyed antiquing and visiting Cracker Barrel—for the store, of course. A member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and a lifelong resident of Bremond, she especially cherished time with her grandchildren.
