Sitting with him you didnt just pass time you learned something you laughed and you felt connected. Some of my favorite memories are simple oneshim sitting on our porch in the morning enjoying the sun just at peace. Those quiet moments said a lot about who he was. He also had a sweet tooth especially for lime popsicles. Even when he wasnt supposed to have too many he still enjoyed them like a little treat he couldnt resist. That was part of his charm.
