Taylor Brian Pettit was born on October 30 2002 at a robust 9 lbs. 14 oz in Salt Lake City Utah. He ended his life on March 19 2026 in Salt Lake City Utah leaving behind his grieving family Father Mark Louis Pettit Mother Rebecca Young Pettit Brothers Aaron Scott Pettit and Jared Mark Pettit and numerous grandparents aunts uncles and cousins. The chemist in him came out in spades when he cooked. Breads were his specialty sourdough challah focaccia rolls. His steaks were custom cooked to doneness with thyme butter and Himalayan salt. He had to replace two thermometers and one KitchenAid mixer making meltinyourmouth fudge biweekly throughout the winter. He loved experimenting with food and we were all happy to be taste testers. DeeAnn returned to her beloved mother Gladys and father Dale on February 28th at the age of 62 surrounded by loved ones. DeeAnn is survived by her children Greg James Jeannette Steven and Randy. She was a mother sister aunt grandmother and beautiful friend to many. Her heart was bigger than most and was always the first to jump in and help whenever she could. She loved to crochet and spent every year making blankets and slippers for her family and friends. DeeAnn kept in touch with everyone in her life even if she hadnt seen them for years. She wrote everyones birthday down and never forgot to reach out and show that she was thinking of them. Jean was born on November 25 1930 in Salt Lake City Utah to Raymond Higbee Haight and Jennie Rogerson Haight. Jean and her sister Lucille Tuttle deceased grew up in Salt Lake City Utah. Jean attended the University of Utah where she met Glen Fraser Palmer in 1949. Jean and Glen were married June 22 1950 in the Salt Lake Temple. Jean is survived by her children Randy Brenda Palmer Karen Palmer Shields Steven Susan Palmer David Paula Palmer along with grandchildren and great grandchildren.
