Catherine RickettsRutland-Catherine “Cathy” Lovell Ricketts, 83, of Rutland and formerly of Tinmouth died Monday August 17, 2026 at the Rutland Heath Care Center.She was born on July 27, 1943 in Springfield the daughter of Earl and Irene (Hutchinson) Lovell.Mrs. Ricketts graduated from the Springfield High School in 1961, Thompson School of Practical Nursing in Brattleboro in 1963 and obtained advanced training from St. Mary’s School of Nursing in South Dakota in 1964 for a 6 month course in surgical care.She married Albert Ricketts in August 1981 and moved to Tinmouth.She was a nurse for over 28 years at many heath care facilities including Beverly Manor, Pleasant Manor, Loretta Home, Bennington Hospital and Springfield Hospital prior to her retirement, she also worked at the Alpinia Motel. She was also an accomplished seamstress working for the Fashion Shop and Foleys.Mrs. Ricketts enjoyed crafts, sewing, gardening, flowers, picking berries, wildlife and making many…
