Philip Turco, 93, of Mt Holly, Vt, died Monday, October 5th surrounded by his family. He was born November 25, 1932 in Mt Holly, son of Ross and Helen Turco.He served in the US Army as an MP for 2 years before marrying Sandra Fontaine in 1956 in Rutland, VT. They lived there for several years before moving to Mt Holly, to the house he built on the site where he was born.He was a dedicated employee of Joseph P Carrara & Son in Clarendon for 38 years before retiring in 1995.Philip was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a member of the Rod & Gun Club in Ludlow,Vt. His pastimes included making syrup in his sugarhouse, puttering in his garden, and spending time with his family.Philip is survived by his wife of 70 years, Sandra Turco, 2 daughters, Sharon Godfrey (Ron) of Mt Holly, Donna McIntyre of Rochester, 4…
