Born on July 7 1935 to Percy and Nellie Clements Fitzgerald Virginia was one of nine children and was preceded in death by her parents five brothers and three sisters. She was also preceded in death by her husband Bill Maupin of Crozet and by two sonsinlaw Willie Snow and Dannie Russell. Virginia is survived by her children Teresa Maupin Snow Deborah Maupin Snow and her husband Tony Wyant Michael Maupin and his wife Candace Conley Maupin and Anita Maupin Russell. She is also survived by a special granddaughter she raised as her own Elizabeth Seal Matheny.
