Charles Melvin Adcock Sr. 89 of Scottsville died on Friday February 13 2026 at his home surrounded by loved ones. He was born on November 1 1936 in Buckingham County a son of the late Paul Alexander and Mabel Venetta Graves Adcock. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Paul Franklin Adcock a sister Betty Maxey a daughterinlaw Naomi Adcock and a special cousin Geroge Richardson. For 36 years Charlie worked for VDOT and retired as a Foreman. He was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Esmont. He loved spending time with his family hunting and fishing and was known to be very faithful in the care of his brotherinlaw David. Survivors include his wife Mary Alice Ward Adcock Tillie a son Charles Melvin Adcock Jr. two daughters Joyce Jarratt and Connie Knight Keith all of Scottsville seven grandchildren seven greatgrandchildren…
