Eugene Kenneth Keen, 60 years of age, of Harman, VA, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Born August 14, 1965, he was the son of the late Mazie Keen Hibbitts and stepfather Tom Hibbitts.Eugene was a former employee of Metinvest Coal Co. and worked in the coal industry for over 30 years. He was happiest outdoors, where he spent much of his life riding and raising horses- a passion that brought him both pride and peace. At the time of his passing, he cared for 17 horses, 47 pigs, and several cows and chickens, a reflection of his dedication to farming and the life he built with his own hands.
