Thomas Tommy M. Berry our beloved father passed away peacefully in his home on Tuesday February 10 2026. Born on October 21 1931 in Hampton Tommy was a proud Army veteran and a man who lived a life defined by hard work creativity and devotion to family.For more than 65 years Tommy worked as a sheet metal mechanic with Newsome Air Conditioning. He took great pride in his work and was known for his reliability and skill. Outside of work he was an avid woodworker and craftsman who found true happiness in building things with his handsoften creating pieces meant to be shared used and enjoyed by those he loved. Tommy was preceded in death by his parents Robert C. Berry Sr. Colgate and Louise Carpenter Berry his beloved wife of over 60 years Dorothy Spires Berry his cherished daughter Renae Denise McCormick and his brothers Robert C. Berry Jr.…
