He had a lifelong passion for the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing golf.Later in his life he spent most days in his garage with a fire crackling in his old wood stove. He had a deep passion for restoring vintage John Deere tractors and spent countless hours patiently bringing old iron back to life. His garage was his sanctuary and he shared it with a steady stream of friends and neighbors who stopped by daily.
