Asterie Chrisley Cox, age 79, of Tazewell, VA, passed away Monday, October 12, 2026, at Bristol Regional Medical Center in Bristol, TN. Born April 7, 1947, in Pulaski County, VA, she was the only child of the late French Elmer Chrisley and Oneda Bell Chrisley. Asterie was of the Christian faith. Quite the homemaker, she loved to bake, sew, and play with her grandchildren. Over the course of her working years, she worked in textiles for Basset Walker of Hillsville, VA, and for Clinch Valley Printing in Tazewell. Above all, she was best known for being a homemaker and “NANA.”In addition to her parents, Asterie was preceded in death by one daughter, Suprenia Cox Goad, and former husband, Rolland Cox, Sr.Left to cherish and carry her memory forward are her husband of 41 years, Everett Cox; three sons, Rolland Cox, Jr. of Hillsville, VA, William “Cody” Cox, and Michael “Dajon”…
