Louise Irene Stadler Batman 101 of Bridgeport passed through the Gates of Heaven to the Place Thats The Best on Tuesday March 31 2026 after a brief illness. She was born on March 10 1925 in Charleston a daughter of the late Nile George and Hazel Maude Wright Stadler. After graduating from Stonewall Jackson High School she married her high school sweetheart Jim Boy upon his return from serving in the US Navy at the end of World War II. Then ensued a short move to Nitro WV to work side by side with her mother Hazel to develop Stadler Greenhouses into a flourishing business born out of tireless hard work and customer care. Robert Bob James Saffle 65 of Bridgeport passed away unexpectedly on March 30 2026 in Mon General Hospital. He was born in Marietta GA on January 17 1961 a son of the late Richard Howard Saffle and Ella Jean McElroy Saffle who survives in Bridgeport. In addition to his mother he is also survived by two daughters Jennifer Wright and her husband Andrew of Inwood WV and Miranda Saffle of Clarksburg and his grandchildren Delaney Andrew Charlotte Miara and Zaiden. Two brothers Howard Paul Saffle and his wife Vickie of Bridgeport and Richard Allen Saffle of Bridgeport and two nephews Matthew and Richard complete his family. Bob was a graduate of Bridgeport High School. He was a chef at Oliverios Restaurant and worked at American Legion Post 68 after his retirement. She was born in Reynoldsville on September 11 1935 a daughter of the late Andrew and Edna Willoughby Drumpus.
