Sharon Layne Smith age 70 resident of Kimper KY Transitioned to her heavenly home on Saturday evening February 14 2026. Sharon was born in Williamson WV on August 22 1955 she was the daughter to the late Jack and Bessie Coleman Layne. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brother Bobby Layne A special nephew Terry Casey Two brothers in law Clinton Casey and Glen Bill Buck Smith and sister in law Kathy Layne. Sharon was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God. She dedicated her life to serving the Lord. She had a passion for reading books. She faithfully read and studied the bible. She also loved to sing and play piano for the Lord. She will be remembered for her thoughtfulness faith and devotion to her family.
