He graduated from BuckhannonUpshur High School and West Virginia Business College. He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife of 34 years Arlene Adams. He was preceded in death by his father Argil Woodrow Adams mother Edna Jane Adams soninlaw Randy Brooks and stepdaughter Teresa Wagner. He is survived by his loving wife Arlene Adams. John William Hitt Jr. age 95 of Weston WV died Saturday March 28 2026 at the White Sulphur Springs Center in White Sulphur Springs WV. He was born May 21 1930 in Lewis County WV a son of the late John William and Virginia Viola Sines Hitt. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter Terri Hitt Rohrbough son Joseph P. Hitt two brothers Mike and Tom Hitt and two sisters Shirley Badgett and Patricia Huffman.
