Russell W. Speltz 54 of Chippewa Falls town of Eagle Point died Friday February 13 2026 at his residence surrounded by his loving family under the care of St. Croix Hospice after a brave and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Russ worked in the cable TV industry for many years as a lineman most recently for Push Inc. as an aerial foreman. After 10 years together Russ married the love of his life Heather Hebert on December 29 2007 at St. Charles Church in Chippewa Falls. Together they shared 28 years of love and devotion. Russ was a devoted husband father and Bumpa to three precious grandchildren. Over the years he loved spending time with his family and friends especially his grandchildren. Nancy passed away peacefully February 11, 2026. She was born August 21, 1936 to Lawrence F. and Rachel Olmstead. She was raised in Cornell, WI, and graduated high school in 1954. After graduating from high school, she moved to Minneapolis, MN, and worked as a keypunch operator for Northwest Bank. She married Howard Fasbender June 22, 1957 in Cornell. They resided on the Fasbender Farm in the Town of Cleveland.In addition to raising a family and working the family farm with her husband, Nancy had numerous hobbies. Family, friends, neighbors, and the community received kindness and love through her gifts of time, quilts, hats/mittens and products from her gardens and kitchen.
