RIO Edward "Ed" Hoene age 69 passed away on Saturday February 14 2026. He was born on July 9 1956 in Madison WI to Alvin and Margaret Clements Hoene. He graduated from Lafollette High School in 1974. Ed worked as a mechanic at Oscar Mayer for more than 20 years. He loved his job and made many lifelong friends there. Hunting and fishing with his brothers were boyhood passions that Ed never outgrew. He was a big fan of westerns NASCAR racing game shows sports and cars. He was a fixit guy and would try his hand at anything that needed repair. Above all most important in Eds life were his children Steven David and Vivian. MADISON Gayle J. Treadaway age 92 passed away at his home on Thursday February 12 2026. Tread was born on November 11 1933 to Edwin and Isabel Clew Treadaway in New Orleans. He grew up in New Orleans and joined the US Air Force. After returning he married the love of his life Marlene Reinitz on May 30 1953. Tread worked a small variety of positions including bread delivery real estate and at Oscar Mayer. After retirement he joined his son Matt with his business Matts Express. When Matt fell ill with type 1 diabetes he donated his kidney saving his son and the business.Many years later when the company was sold he volunteered for Dane County Parks for 25 years. Raymond E. Fiske born March 4 1951 in Philadelphia Pennsylvania passed away on February 14 2026 in Madison WI. Raymond was a devoted husband father grandfather greatgrandfather brother and friend. He is survived by his beloved wife Suzanne NicholsonFiske to whom he was faithfully devoted for many years his daughter Gina Fiske his grandchildren Sarah Justin Steven and Jasmine and his eleven greatgrandchildren. He is also survived by his stepdaughter Jenni Donna Vance and their daughter Pepper his stepson Justin Sarah Vance and son Nick his brother Alex Joan Fiske and his sister Lodema. Raymond was a man who showed his love through his actions and was always willing to help others. His strength loyalty and steady presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

John B. Walsh born February 15 1940 to John J. and Audrey B. Walsh lived a life defined by resilience integrity devotion to family and quiet humor. He passed away on Saturday February 14 2026 after facing health challenges over the past two years with characteristic strength and determination. As a young man John was an outstanding athlete. In high school he was a threetime singles conference champion in tennis and a stateranked wrestler. He enrolled at the University of Wisconsin with plans to play varsity tennis. However in August 1958 his life changed dramatically when he was involved in a devastating motorcycle accident. He remained unconscious for 32 days and was unable to begin college as planned. His recovery was extraordinary. Through perseverance and grit he regained his health and ultimately attended and graduated from the University of Wisconsin Madison a testament to his determination.
