Verona Dale A. Hagen age 80 passed away peacefully on February 12 2026 at Four Winds Manor in Verona. He was born on January 30 1946 in Madison Wisconsin the beloved son of Arthur Hagen and Nona Way Hagen. Dale married Audrey Marquardt on February 4 1967 at Mount Olive Church in Madison. Being a lifelong resident of Verona he had strong ties with the community. He purchased his dads barber shop on Main Street in Verona and worked there alongside his brother for 20 years. Dale then moved onto working for the State of Wisconsin where he worked for another 20 years until his retirement. With all of that going on Dale was a volunteer fireman for 40 years at the Verona Fire Department. Dale was an easy going and friendly individual who could easily make a friend. Marian A. Hanneman age 90 passed away on February 11 2026 in Verona WI. Marian was born at home to Walter and Bella Wartner Mather during a snow storm where the doctor needed a snowplow to lead the way to their farm in Merrimac WI. As a teenager Marian learned to bake pies early in the morning at the local bakery baking around 40 pies before 800 AM She was a Nursing Assistant for 45 years at St. Marys Hospital in Madison WI. After retirement she volunteered at the hospital and with Agrace Hospice. Nursing wasnt her only career. She and Les ran a very busy LM Ceramic Studio in their home making many close friends of her students. Marian was an accomplished artist who loved to embroider and knit.
