Charles P. McGeshick, born January 13, 1946, passed away peacefully at his home in Mole Lake, Wisconsin, overlooking the lake, on August 19, 2026. He was born at home in the Township of Nashville, Wisconsin, to Peter McGeshick and Mildred Ackley.Charles began his education at Mole Lake Elementary School and later attended and graduated from Intermountain Indian School in Brigham City, Utah. He went on to earn a diploma in Basic Education Teaching.As a young man, Charles was hardworking and determined to make his own way. One of his first jobs was as a bricklayer. He later moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he worked at various salons and developed his skills as a barber and beautician. Eventually, Charles returned home to Mole Lake, where he became a self-employed barber and beautician, a profession he continued throughout much of his adult life.
