Brian D. McMeekin, age 86, of Tomahawk, WI, passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at Aspirus Hospice House in Wausau, WI. Brian was born in Chicago, IL, on May 17, 1940, to the late Harold and Isabel (Theobald) McMeekin. In 1976, he married Anna Marie Lewandowski, and together they shared 41 years of marriage before her passing in 2017.Brian moved from Chicago to the Northwoods of Wisconsin 40 years ago. He had a love for nature and found great pleasure in feeding the deer and watching the wildlife that visited his yard. Brian also enjoyed playing the accordion, sharing his love of music with those around him.
