Wayne W. Hammond age 92 previously of Wausau WI Windsor WI and Waupaca WI passed away peacefully on Sunday May 10 2026 at St. Paul Elder Services in Kaukauna. He was born on September 13 1933 in Brokaw WI to the late Leslie and Anita Merklein Hammond. On October 4 1958 Wayne married the love of his life Mary Peterson in Wausau WI. He was employed at the Brokaw Paper Mill before joining the U.S. Army and serving during the Korean War. After his service he attended UWSP and began his career in underwriting at American Family Insurance until his retirement. Wayne loved being outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was born on July 4 1945 to Royal and Marie Stommel Gillis. Pat graduated from Kaukauna High School in 1963. He joined the U.S. Army in 1963 through 1967. He worked various jobs including at Badger Highway and the Calumet County road crew. His greatest passion however was working with horses giving horse and carriage rides for weddings and special occasions. He also did hay rides and had riding stables. The only thing that took him away from his love of horses was his failing health. Rosemary was born on March 14 1942 to the late Thomas and Audrey Rowland Coady. On October 22 1960 she was united in marriage to Lyle Pyke at St. Marys Church in Gaylord Michigan. Upon Lyles death in 2011 they had been married for over 50 years. Rosemary was employed as a cake decorator at Rich Products Appleton Wisconsin. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She spent time collecting antiques making homemade dolls and sewing. Lillian B. Tennessen loving wife mother grandmother and great grandmother passed away on May 12 2026. She was born on November 23 1931 daughter of the late Peter and Minnie Hermsen Vosters. Lillian was married to Byron Meulemans and he preceded her in death in 1958. She then married Robert Tennessen on February 11 1961. Faith was extremely important to Lillian. She was a longtime member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church Little Chute. Bob and her made trips to Robinsonville to visit the National Shrine of Our Lady of Champion. Lillian was a member of the St. Elizabeth Society and enjoyed playing cards bowling dancing cooking baking traveling and cheering on the Green Bay Packers. She enjoyed family gatherings and spending time with her family as often as possible.
