Mark Peanie J. Pierce 73 of Stetsonville passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday February 10 2026. Peanie was born on March 6 1952 in Marshfield to Lawrence and Emma Becker Pierce. He graduated from Medford High School. Peanie worked as a mechanic at Mertens Garage for 11 years before continuing his career with Galvins Trucking and later Black River Industries as a driver. A proud and dedicated member of his community Peanie volunteered with the Stetsonville Fire Department for more than 35 years. He will be remembered for his kindness quick wit and gift of gab to anyone he met. He truly loved the connections that he made with others. Peanie enjoyed an active life and treasured time spent racing snowmobiles bowling and playing softball for the Stetsonville team.
