Kim Marie Thieme Lanius age 62 of Rib Lake Wisconsin passed away on May 10 2026 surrounded by her family. She was born on January 13 1964 in Port Washington to Shirley Hahn Thieme and Leroy Thieme. Kim graduated from Medford High School in 1982. She married Mark Brost with whom she had two daughters Ashley and Courtney before they later divorced. She later shared her life with her husband Jon Lanius. Kim will be remembered for being unapologetically herself along with her funloving personality sense of humor and sharp wit. She especially loved time spent with family in simple familiar settings sitting around a campfire sharing a meal or gathering for a card game. Those moments will be what her family remembers most. She was a devoted fan of the Detroit Lions and the Michigan Wolverines and rarely missed a chance to cheer them on during football season. She…
