Rosemary Kastner (nee Kastelic)Rosemary was born on July 12, 1935 and passed away peacefully on August 15, 2026, at the age of 91. A proud Slovenian American, Rosemary cherished her family, faith, traditions, gardening, cooking, travel and the many friendships she made throughout her life. She was a long-time resident of West Allis.Rosemary met Arthur “Art” Kastner in 1949, when she was just fourteen, and immediately told her friends that he was the man she would marry. They married on June 18, 1955, beginning a loving marriage that lasted more than 58 years. Together they raised four children who blessed them with seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was the dear mother of Kathlyn (Gerald) Slater, Karin (Richard) Gale, Kristine (Steven) Borkenhagen, and Karl (Kristen) Kastner; cherished grandmother of Zachary (Kelsey) and Eric (Silvia) Slater, Anne Gale, Sara (Robert) Huston, Joseph (Anna Behrens) Borkenhagen, and Kendall (Steven Schinkal) and Kaiser…
