John David Crockett 83 passed away peacefully on Saturday February 14 2026 at his home in Douglas Wyoming with his loving family at his bedside. John was born Friday September 11 1942 in Sunrise Wyoming. He was a man of faith service and family. A proud United States Marine Corps veteran Lance Corporal John served as a Commandant for special weapons loading. He later dedicated 35 years to Reynolds Metals as an industrial brick mason and served his community through the Clackamas County Sheriffs Department and as a street officer in Sandy Oregon. After retiring to Douglas in 2000 he became a pillar of Trinity Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Rachel children Teresa Crockett Don Meyer David Crockett Violet and Elizabeth VanBuskirk Britt Wilson brother Larry Gene Crockett a large legacy of grandchildren and great grandchildren and a greatgreat grandchild.
