Born in Quezon City, Philippines, February 29, 1964 one of three children. From the beginning she would live an extraordinary life of love, friendship, laughter and joy. As a Leap Year baby, Erma was excited that all her kids were “older” than her, and she lived with the boundless energy of a teenager her entire adult life. Erma’s life was a masterclass in selflessness.Preceded in death by her parents, Ernesta and Manuel Javier. Erma’s name came from how they signed their love letters ER+MA. She was made in love and brought love to life everywhere she went. It was her pleasure to share her Filipino heritage through love of Ohana, joy in friendships, yummy food and connection through encouragement and positivity.
